Red Hair-should it be banned from schools?

After 3 yrs of having red hair, 17 year old student, who is about to take her final exams, is told she cant come back to school until she dies her hair back from red.

Her read hair is part of her signature as she is a budding musician and her hair is part of her style. No one said anything for 3 yrs, why now?

The student is quoted as saying:
“The laughable thing is my hair was brighter than this on prom night, and I won best hairstyle award.”(see more)

dadvocate   Absolutely. How dare anybody change their hair color from something simple to something bold without consent. What's next, she will want to read books from the banned list. I say nip it in the bud. Nice

shmezzie   It's hair. Dye it pink with purple highlights. Wear a daffodil bow. Have fun. Express yourself. We don't want the next generation to be a bunch of squares...or do we!?

GloOchoa   who cares what color hair is? Hair color doesnt determine IQ, personality, morals or values.
The article also says she had the red hair for 3 yrs and no one said anything until now? Pfft.
