Celebrating bin Laden's Death is Gruesome

 
This might make me very unpopular, but joy at the death of a person, no matter how despicable the person is, seems disgusting.

  hlymnky   If you noticed, the only people really jumping up and down with joy celebrating his death were college kids - people who were only 11 years old or younger at the time of 9/11 and probably didn't fully

  sprabhakar   Osama BinLaden's death was celebrated in the US because for US people he is a terrorist who planned to kill the US people and killed about 2000- 3000 people sofar with Sep 9/11 and other bombings.

  pundit   It was a planned execution and we made it out to be a 'firefight'. How people can be so detached as to rejoice in a person's death seems morbid. I'm not saying he didnt deserve to die, but to be celebretory

  dadvocate   He was a dispicable human being that had no concern for the lives of others and people like this don't deserve to live.

  october   I don't think its Obama as much as what he represents that people are celebrating. its the first time in ten years the U.S. has proven that crimes against humanity won't go unpunished.
