Are Today's Youth Less Imaginative and Creative?

 
Researchers say they are finding exactly that. In a 2010 study of about 300,000 creativity tests going back to the 1970s, Kyung Hee Kim, a creativity researcher at the College of William and Mary, found creativity has decreased among American children in recent years.

  pundit   Absolutely true. Their creativity is zapped by the immediate gratification of technology. I wonder if it will lead to a decrease in writers, artists, etc...

  jared   Tough question. I'm going to say they arent less imaginative, but perhaps tapping into that part of who they are less because of technology and other societal trends.
