Okay for parents to walk in without knocking?

 
If a child is over 13, should parents have to knock before entering a child's room? I think parents should at least knock and wait for a response.

  october   Yes, i do believe a parent has the right to enter a child's room without knocking, especially if they are concerned the child is doing something dangerous. Parent's dont get satisfaction over helping

betteroutlookonlife   OH ! to be 13 again and to ask for a knock on the door! I was the last of 10 kids, Now how much privatcy do think we had? NONE and we all survived without problems and we didn't have anything to hide!

  Kitten   Talking as a teenager whose Mother walks in without knocking, I have to say it's wrong. It's incredibly annoying when I'm getting dressed and my Mum walks straight in, but she has always knocked to enter

  pundit   I'm in agreement with Charlee. In addition, i might add that a parent hopes for the type of relationship with their child in which issues are brought into the open because they trust their parent not
