Federal student loan program should be cut?

 
The Federal Reserve Bank of New York said that last year 100 billion dollars in student loans were taken out in a record setting year. Presidential candidate Ron Paul says that if he were to become president he would eventually cut the federal student loan plan. He blames the government for rising tuition rates in the United States. Do you agree with Ron Paul?

  charlee   Yes, federal loans and grants have led to the extreme escalating costs of higher ed. It has outpaced even health care in its inflationary rise. It is strictly due to subsidies by the feds in the forms

  october   This is just a wealthy guy saying its time to stop giving out to those who don't have. The rich get richer the poor get poorer. Who care if the country produces less educated people and we continue to
